Prins Thomas
Full Pupp

Great to see Prins Thomas in the thick of the action. Now that Full Pupp is up and running as an excellent modern disco album, he adds this long player to its roster – but broadens his spectrum in the process. Musically this is a bit closer to his two collaborative efforts with Lindstrom, with several examples of space rock, but throughout there’s a keen sense of rhythm, along with a texture packed full of riffs. ‘Sauerkraut’ and ‘Wendy not Walter’ are two excellent stand-outs, but this is really about the whole album, a record full of positivity and charm. It’s like bottling the approaching spring, and setting it loose on a dancefloor.
