Two of Dance’s finest artists deliver an abundance of great music for this second compilation of the infamous party. Southport Weekender is an institution in its own right having spent the past 17 years investing its time to present you with the opportunity of witnessing some of the world’s greatest DJ’s in action. Blaze take care of the first CD with their emotive blend of uptempo R&B, deep grooves and joyus voices. Mixing up a storm, and with added effects, this journey into sound takes you through the highs and lows of a great set with inclusions from MAW, Nicky P and Kenny Bobien. CD two sees Joe Claussell twist a diverse set of grooves together from the lush rhythms of Divinity “Find A Way” to the much edgier “Instant House” by Awade. Again another superlative mix which demonstrates why these people are, quite rightly, at the top of the game.
