Hell Yeah is rapidly cementing itself into one of the labels of the year as it turns out gems with the simple mission to either keep the floor burning or destroy it completely. Maskio – aka Santos – has acid house mayhem in mind as he plants a simply effective ‘Monday is our busiest day’ hook’ over malevolent, dirty house-vamping which thrusts forth relentlessly with lethal bassline until the entry of a crazed chicken being given a good seeing to by the mighty rooster. Italy’s Dusty Kid then wades into the feathers and used chicken-condoms to deliver a low-slung minimal treatment with eerie rockabilly guitar adding to the night-stalking vibe. This track originally appeared on Mantra Vibes last year but got squashed by the dreaded distribution hell. Now it’s back, just in time to be one of the scorchers of the summer.
