Sun Electric and The Orb were always closely related, with Thomas Fehlmann managing the duo. Their last album was released in 1998, so this is an effective post script to a fine career of ambient music. Not all the tracks here are essential listening, but grow in the consciousness, especially ‘Lomat’ and ‘Sissy’, whose scattered material comes together. Meanwhile ‘Shuffle’ and ‘Choc Au Lait’ are softly hypnotic – soothing chill-out sounds but with enough going on to make them interesting musically. An engaging listen.
