It’s been five years since Charles Siegling felt ready to release another Technasia album but, as they say, the wait has been worth it. While never losing sight of electronic dance music’s roots, Charles has sculpted a deep techno masterwork which also reflects contemporary German sounds and even an innate grasp of modern classical styles on tracks like ‘Voyager Eternals’. ‘No Fear’ evokes the darker world of Phuture and old school Chicago but ‘Music To Watch The City Lights Late At Night’ injects a pastoral, melodic deepness. Meanwhile, ‘Tu Isla’ glides over to Ibiza bliss-scapes on a flight trajectory which is now all his own, drenched in luminescent ash from his creative volcano. Good to have him back.
