They’re often linked to 2 Many DJs for mixing the past with the present in their efforts to create a different clubbing experience. But apart from being a duo and coming from the same Belgian town, the two partnerships tread different eclectic paths. Sure both are always keen to impress and surprise, however whereas for the Soulwax bros it’s about rock’n’roll in all its forms, for Mo and Benoelie it’s more about the stoned groove. Rawer and more experimental than their recent Eskimo opus, this new DJ Kicks volume gives once again to some of today’s forward thinking DJs the occasion to put together a dream selection with no commercial pressure (Bis, Peaches, Kerri Chandler, Lindstrom, Kaos, Two Lone Swordsmen, Chicago etc) .
