The Jacka from The Bay on the West Coast of America has been churning out quality music for some time, but with this album here I think he will finally get the recognition he deserves. It’s nineteen tracks deep although the single ‘Barney’ comes in its original version and the highly played remix featuring Cormega and Rydah from Mob Figaz. ‘Girls Say’ is a real highlight to this album with it’s infectiously uplifting hook and beat, ‘Lookin’ At It’ is an excellent collaboration with Luniz main man Yukmouth and 3XCrazy’s Keak da Sneak and ‘Never Equal’ is an excellent solo track that shows the lyrical capacity of this sincere and humble rapper. This album is a landmark in West Coast Rap and is something that is needed in your record collection alongside The Game, Dre, Snoop and E40. Classic material.
