The KBC are a trio from Preston, that work their uplifting songs over powerful pumping grooves. Their debut album ‘On The Beat’ opens with the huge current single ‘Poisonous Emblem’, which gets crowds singing along with James Mulholland, as he joyously recalls, ‘Hello! Were you looking to buy from me? We got stoned on packets of herbal tea’. Amphetamine fueled keyboard riffs & crashing guitars take us into ‘Not Anymore’, a hook laden majestic number that packs plenty of punches, think Doves having a party. ‘Day Of Disillusion’ brings The Water Boys to mind, and their stomping debut ‘Test The Water’ will incite mass disco pogo on any well sprung dance floor. The KBC have got the potential to blow up massive, they know how to make an anthem or two.
