I’d always wondered why no one had remaked Chris Isaak’s top ten acoustic delight from late-1990 into a club record, maybe they’d never quite found the right vocalist to hit those notes with the same ease as the Californian. First heard in the David Lynch Wild At Heart soundtrack it’s a magical song that now sounds just as good as ever in the capable hands of Hott 22. With a near-identical vocal performance (could this be Mr Isaak we ask?) and remixes from Thomas Gold, the song oozes of all the right credentials to cross over into the mainstream. Now what about ‘Baby Did A Bad, Bad Thing’ as the follow up?
