What happens when quality remixers are themselves remixed? In this case, pretty much anything as Zero dB is subjected to treatment from a range of artists from ATFC to Yppah. The incisive rap of ‘Know What I’m Sayin’ benefits from the light piano and breakbeat applied by Nery Bauer, while on the housier side of things Peter Kruder’s minimal funk complements ‘Te Quiero’. Pretty much anything goes on the Daedelus remix of ‘Sunshine Lazy’, the same track getting a hypnotic pulse from Tony Nwachukwu. There’s even a samba feel to Dave De Gato’s remix of ‘A Pomba Girou’, proof of Zero dB’s flexibility in this excellent collection.
