Allen & Fillix are restless producers who put out a high number of releases without ever letting the quality levels wane. They do so on many big labels but most regularly put out their beats on D Traffik. Here they do so on the Limited arm of the label and serve up two top cuts that are ripe for both DJs and dancers.
Long Lane kicks things off in steely style, with skittish hi hats rolling and rumbling above thudding drums. It is a percussive lead jam that will make you jerk your body. Building the pressure throughout, the tight arrangement never lets up and will keep you on your toes throughout. The other jam is Where Is Mario, something that is a little more curious, with female vocals and dry metallic hits grooving along above bulbous beats. It’s a slick and slippery tune that will bring funk to any DJ set. Once again then this pair have really come correct here.
