Digital Traffik keeps on serving up the essential club wares with its next EP featuring two more essential cuts. Taking one of them is the long established label boss AudioHell, and on the other one is Supernova aka official artists on the WeTraffik/DigitalTraffik world tour.
AudioHell goes first and is in fine form as he mines a Detroit styled house vibe. He layers in some spoken word snippets, builds a rich bed of drums and injects plenty of colour thanks to his great synth lines. It is a moody house cut that is serene and dramatic and will really make a mark in any set. On the flip, Light Up is more playful and upright, with big drum loops, subtle fills and a bendy set of synths all working you into a lather. A spooky breakdown adds more mood and when the whole thing kicks again there rally is no way people won’t go wild. All in all then this is an assured package that packs two very different punches.
