Audiojack ‘No More’ (ORIGINS RCRDS)

A leading name within electronic music for the past a decade, UK duo Audiojack stand today as an example of how to do things the right way, releasing material via a slew of top tier imprints including the likes of Crosstown Rebels, Hot Creations and Knee Deep In Sound over recent years. Owners of their own dancefloor focused label Gruuv, the duo have cemented their position as one of the scenes most in-demand duos via their skills within both the studio and the booth, with appearances in 2019 alone featuring the likes of Tomorrowland, Womb (Tokyo), DC-10 (Ibiza), Lost Beach Club (Ecuador) and Hive (Zurich) to name just a few, and here we see them make a welcome return to Josh Butler’s ORIGINS RCRDS imprint following their recent remix of Seb Zito’s ‘Breakin’ on the label as they deliver the two-track ‘No More’.
Title cut ‘No More’ reveals a typically classy effort from the duo as they combine rich chord melodies amongst rolling percussion, bright strings and slinking hats to impressive effect, whilst the Pink Floyd inspired ‘On The Run’ ups the energy via a medley of spiraling synth lines, crisp claps, resonant bass stabs and infectious vocal snippets to shaping up yet another impressive offering from the pairing.
All in all this is another proof of the duo’s magical effort at the moment!
