Demuja ‘Come To Me’ (MADHOUSE)

Not to be mixed up with successful producer Demuir, Demuja is actually Austrian like myself and after some serious deliverings on labels like Nervous, Freerange or RTCT he now is ready to drop his fresh EP ‘Come To Me’ on Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse imprint. Of course a little bit proud on the fact that there is finally a fresh talent emerging of my home country, the praise of Bernhard Weiss who Demuja is called by his mates, is well deserved. Not many peeps out there are able to put out high quality straight up House Music in a constant kind of way these days. ‘Come To Me’ is no exception to the rule as it opens with title track, a rough and ready Lo-Fi number featuring a soulful sample, and blissful stabs of horns and strings.
Up next is the second original on the release ‘Take’ which employs classic house tropes with a nod to the 90s via catchy horns and a New Jersey Garage/House beat. ‘Free Me feat Ladybird’ is taking you on a silky smooth house journey, with Ladybirds dazzling vocals taking center stage whilst the winner of the package certainly is the outstanding Funk fuelled Folamour Remix of ‘Come To Me’ which moves the track even one step further! Great EP from an amazing artist to watch out for!
