This is a delightful 12″ sampler to promote the new Eastern Drum & Breaks CD being released in December, as you would expect this is ouzing with Vibes from the Indian regions and beyond. Both the title track and PK757 by Ges-e are smoothed out rollers with Tabla percussion and soundscapes that would be at home on a Micheal Palin travelogue program, I can imagine DJ’s across the board liking this from your Grooveriders to your Gilles Petersons because it has very good crossover appeal. For those of you that are looking for that extra bit of spice in your drum & bass… This is on par with a Vindallo !!!!!!
