You might think it’s a bit early for Grand National to be wheeling out the B-sides collection, given they’re only two albums old, but one listen to this tells you why they did it. The tracks hang together nicely, exploring their laid back vocal style and easy going hooks. ‘Strange Magnificent Noise’ is a wonderful twilight moment, while the forthright Glimmer Twins take on ‘Playing In The Distance’ and a wonderfully crafted Sasha mix of ‘Talk Amongst Yourselves’ provide the remix gems. Even for B-sides, these are quality items.
