Here we have the long awaited final installment of the Dub Dread series over two plates we get four jungle drum and bass specials written and produced by the main man Ray Keith encapsulating the essence of his own inimitable sound Ray takes the Dread sound to the next level ‘Judgment Day on the A comes in sharp with amen breaks and dub bleeps alongside some dread ragga samples leading into some full on darkside pressure with twisted breaks and dirty filtered basses showing the dark side of this infectious producer, flip over for the sounds of ‘Logans Run this one floats in subtly with cool ol’ skool sounding synths and harmonious vocals combined with Rays signature bleeps that take us on a thoughtful journey bubbling throughout, on the C-side we have the Roots rocking sounds of ‘Reggae Blues this one has lovers rock written all over it with a melody to warm the coldest of hearts this track gets you singing even though it has no words you’ll know what I mean when you hear it,lastly we have the end track ‘That We Come To Defend this one comes in hard and fast with amen breaks and heavy dread vox and effects giving a real yesteryear vibe with synth stabs and congo natty breaks rolling throughout watch as the break switches into some real sonic pressure definitely one for the raving crew.
