Not your instant Dillinja-esque roll out but more of a bassline bubbler, Friction is fast becoming one of the few nu skool DJ’s to break through into the big league and now about to release his biggest 12″ to date. Friction’s production takes a bit of getting used to as on first listen the tunes don’t seem to be much different to the same ol same ol that’s around on many a label, as you listen in more depth you can hear the basslines and breaks intertwine effortlessly creating a barrage of deep and heavy drum & bass. On the flip he teams up with Logistics for Sin City, a sneaky vocal sample leads the way for another friction frolic.
