Previously releasing to Tim Healey’s label and now branching out with their own new label, Brazilian producers Felguk (who have been asked by Madonna for a remix!) turn in a stripped back slick, electro jackin house number. The flip is where Felguk’s bass manipulation and inventiveness truly comes to the fore on a collab with UK Bass master Example on ‘Plastic Smile’. A tale of 2 parts in which an elephantine baggy bass and Example’s UK urban drawl on a 90bpm dubstep track collide with a rather tasty Daft Punkesque orchestral piano synth workout. Inventive.
