Pal Sorli outta Tonsberg in Norway is a man of many faces, as The Lux Experience he is one of the undisputed Disco cutup kings, as Addvibe he is a master of all deeper House sounds and his busy Vier Deep Digital label keeps on releasing special records that are often not categorised by genres, but by pure quality. His new presenting is a rather obscure, but fantastic Chillout track from Norwegians Duo Holistique that a certain Kenneth Bager certainly would be proud to have signed it, a record that despite being a chilly tune, still has got plenty of Funk and therefore a present soulful feeling to it. Label honcho Addvibe however turns the song into a whole different direction by adding deep, minimal Afro Drums and very spheric keys and synths to create an amazing atmosphere, which I describe as a perfect winter mood, which of course is a ongoing subject in Norway 😉
