Mexican Disco hero Hotmood aka Guillermo Santana keeps on delivering the goods on a weekly basis on various labels. ‘Around You’ still is a jam to highlight as it is a guaranteed floor filler not only for the more funky floors. Coming out on the always reliable Funky Revival label it’s built around a very groovy Disco loop which has all the essential ingredients a peaktime Funk bomb needs with rolling guitars, strong beats, sweet strings and superb vocals.
As if we haven’t been aware of it already, this is another proof that Hotmood is the king of all things Disco of the here and now. Strong!
