Opening up the account is InComing. This one is a squelchy, bubbly house number with groaning synths, sweeping pads and bobbling drums that cannot fail to engage dancers from start to finish. The second cut is a more neon lit, rippling techno track with progressive ideas and some very well programmed drums and melodies. This is a fine way to mint your new label and the two tracks offered up prove Rod can make any sort of music with equally compelling results.
If you are a breakbeat fan then you will likely know and love the work of a producer who goes by the name of Colombo aka Alexic Rod. He has a rich history of serving up the jams, and now tries something different for his next trick, turning his back on the breaks in favour of a more slick and seductive house and techno sound. It comes as the first release on new label Dichotomic and is killer indeed.
