Originally released on Terminal M – ‘Boy Boy Boy’ finds a new home on one of the hottest labels to come out of the UK, Black Butter Records. It’s like a quiet storm on a glorious summer day, starting with an energy saving, plucked and filtered guitar. It slowly builds and blooms like a sole lotus flower floating in a river, whilst the gently repeated ‘boy boy boy’ loop rolls out in its musical river flow. Rain pitter patters on the mirrored surface, then the ‘it’s the same old story’ vocal pierces through the stillness, from there the vocals build and build until you feel like you’re floating in the eye of its filtered whirlpool. Lush. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, looks like those two gorgeous Andhim boys are going to notch up another sizeable hit for Black Butter Records.
