Two of my favourite German producer / dj outfits Andhim get the ‘Hausch’ remix treatment by Kolsch, George Morel and Durerstuben. The original is a slow burning, deep smoking, warped, clave and organ driven, disco spiritual. Once Kolsch puts his creative scissors to it think loops, embroidery, fine-fingered skill, luxurious fabric. Think flawless knitting with best wool. Think big South American swinging poncho. Think many bald, shivering sheep and overworked silkworms. It’s a fine tapestry make no mistake. Durerstubens delivers a luxuriously creamy downtempo mix that is chilled for immediate enjoyment and perfect for those Costes, Café Del Mar, Kumharas selectors. Now that ‘Hausch’ has new, fabulous clothes it will surely be worn again and throughout the summer by all of those in the know.
