Or you might be more familiar with them as Hot Natured’s Luca C and Crosstown and Poker Flat producer James What. But either way this is another welcome and distinctive sounding production proving yet again that Dance music is still very much on a roll forward. Jamie Graham’s playful rap is backed up by Sixties styled psychedelic harmonies and bubbling Acid synths giving it all a contrasting edge over the sassy, rhythmic percussion. Remixes come from Kresey who explores the melodic aspects over further pulsating beats, and from Luca C ‘s partner Brigante via a Splatt Egg remix that turns it upside down re-imagining the Acid potential over funkier drums. Last but of course not least is DJ Pierre’s Wild PiTch version which does that trademark thing of combining hypnotic beats and bass, then looping that repetition along with some of the vocal into an excitable arrangement of sound.
