Bristol’s own Niall Cropper delivers an epic nu-house excursion with a feisty diva vocal that works a treat on the dancefloor. Sonny Fodera creates a punchy and scowling nu-garage dub with room filling synths and a moody sub. Owen Westlake turns up the heat for hollow bamboo hit, nu-house roller with clipped vocals and sustained strings for added pep. It’s all about the extended mix for me though with its balance of sticky beats, sweet vocals, sparkling keys and a sultry sub bass. The tricksy pitched vocal adds to the charm and the shimmering chord washes simply make it an outdoor soundtrack essential. One for the summer long haul.
