An odd choice of label release seeing Emerson has his own Underwater imprint, unless a third on the globe trotting series of mixes is in the pipeline following Darren’s acclaimed ‘Uruguay’ and ‘Singapore’ sets. ‘Crash Jack’ is another well thought out head-swimmingly elaborate sound collage of mesmerising no nonsense tech-house moods. But best of all is Majik Johnson’s remix which adds further palatable pleasure with his starker yet captivating sounds of nu electronica that float along drawing you further and further in with the funky undercurrent.
