This spectacular soundscape produced by DoubtingThomas sees gentle, sublime piano moments sit comfortably next to taught Techno beats on the tastefully haunting ‘Apikoros’. This is then pushed to extremes by Ben Vedren’s unrelenting remix which almost despite itself still captures those melancholy notes while making some sense out of the dancefloor. ‘Mr. AAFR’ slurs drunken speech over syncopated up-tempo darkness next, with bonus digital release ‘Dificil Mezcla’ easing the tempo right down to give the stunning minimalist instrumentation room to breathe.
