Something special this way comes as Groove Armada journey to the centre of middle earth to deliver ‘You Got To’ a dark and deeply delicious slab of sleazy old skool sounding house. It builds via shivering strings, chanted backing vocal prompts and bamboo key breakdowns into a ticklish snare and piano house opus that lifts spirits better than a year of laughter therapy. It puts a lot of hands in the air too and that’s a good thing. The Theo Kottis remix is a gluey, echoing, heavy legged work out with a bleepy melody line that should have the laser chasers in raptures. No arguments, just check it out – and that’s an order.
