Imagine a magical flute trilling and tootling away. There are some shivering strings layered on top that seem to tickle the arrangement on the tummy to make it and you as submissive as possible. Then it stuns you with some gut punching beats and cavernous hits that ricochet off the walls before it soothes you with more trilling flute. Add a classical sounding melody and drama that that develops in a James Bond and Simon Rattle meet Hardwell and Tiesto in a BBC Proms-off kind of way. This is Mr Toot. It feels more like an end of set goodbye than a beginning of set hello to my ears yet it’s definitely something worth adding to the EDM arsenal for those moments when you need to twist your pounding set with something completely different.
