Leftwing & Kody’s stock has risen considerably in recent times, and much of that is attributable to their sterling work at their home label, LOST Records. And so it is that the fledgling production outfit return to the label for an outing that’s bumper-packed with good vibes from start to finish. Entitled the One Nation EP, this is a gratifying listen for house heads from the off. We get going with ‘’One Nation’’ itself, which is a real rollercoaster of a ride. Full of cosmic hues and old-school motifs, it’s a groover and shaker that’ll get any dancefloor moving in unison. ‘’That’s the Way’’ borrows samples from a host of classic tracks, but uses them in a way that makes the whole thing sound so brilliantly contemporary. Then we have ‘’Don’t Look’’, which is my own pick here. A bit darker and trippier than what’s arrived before, it’ll certainly cause quite a stir on the dancefloor. Lastly, Luca Cazal perks up with a remix of the latter that keeps the vocal intact but otherwise introduces an entire new vibe. More solid tackle here from Leftwing & Kody!
