Listening to the three CD’s worth of music produced by the DJ/Producer/Systematic head Marc Romboy that span his two decade career is a positively head-spinning experience. However it’s an inspired one in this case as the music encompasses such an excitedly wide variety from soulful gems like the Robert Owens sung ‘In My Mind’ to the low-slung Disco of ‘No Sports’ via the pulsating melodic Techno of ‘Delusion Of The Enemy’. And that’s just on CD one. The next CD then takes you deeper with yet another dazzling collection of sounds with his collaboration alongside Blake Baxter, ‘Muzik’ and the sizzling ‘The Advent’ being particular standouts. The final disc varies between insanely twisted synthesisers performed on ‘The Noise’ to the likewise unforgiving Synthapella of ‘Where Would You Be’. Shades , isn’t always an easy ride but then the percussive rhythms of his hypnotic new single ‘Reciprocity’ featuring Bajka may just turn your head in the opposite direction..
