Undoubtedly one of my favourite releases on the irrepressible Madhouse imprint for a while now. Luigi Giomini and Massimiliano Miele aka Marsupials deliver three equally infectious productions for the label, each packing a Deep emotional intensity that proves hard to beat. ‘Gotta Get You’ starts with low-slung beats, smoky cool organ and a soulful vocal refrain which all proceed to simply hit the spot. Next up is, ‘Quilb’ which again doesn’t overcook the tempo and feels all the more intense for it this time adding a slice filtered Disco juice to their gritty drum formula. The tasty, ‘Hot Donuts’ ends on rough and ready beats accompanied by stylish 90’s House chords to round off a most worthy addition to the label.
