Don’t blink or you’ll miss it. That is to say the three hundred vinyl only release of this raw edged DJ tool courtesy of some of New York’s favourite brothers. The not so subtle, ‘E’s Demise’ is just about as powerful and as hot as it gets with infectiously heavy-duty beats and bass backed up by a selection of familiar sounding vocal samples. This has the same unrefined production values of early nineties American House which Jacked on the dancefloor, rather than sang about it. ‘The Hat Trick’, again plays with repetitive vocal edits, although this time has a much nastier edge delivered by uncompromising, abrasive synths and is undoubtedly the more relentless of the two. Take your pick?
