French DJ an producer MEDA is next up on the Resopal label with a three track EP that is tough and tense and is designed to get dance floors marching to his beat. It comes after other releases on labels like Deep Movements and Crash Tune Recordings and is another fine effort from the label boss. Love Therapy, the title track, goes first and is the toughest, most functional cut here with its raw drums and sharp hi hats. DYWI is then a vibey bit of playful house music with deep sub bass, fresh perc and a clever vocal sample that really injects some soul into the track. Lastly, Pigalle, which takes its name from the red light area of Paris, is appropriately seed and seductive, with freewheeling melodies and colourful chords as well as lots of muffled vocals all making it a fine way to end a charming EP.
