The Diynamic label introduced us all to a glut of new talent with their brilliant Four to the Floor EP series last year and now some of the stars from it get their very own solo EPs. Those getting the nod are Italian pair Undercatt turn out two great tracks, and Dutch duo Roberto Calzetta & Twin Soul who excel when serving up two more. Camargo is the first cut and is a fine bit of work from Undercatt. Driven by rubbery drums that pound and pound, it is resplendent with twinkling melodies and really epic sense of sci-fi starriness. Gemini is then a more downbeat and sombre bumnber but it is still super excellent in terms of the melodies it offers up as they really make your pine tingle. On the flip, Carpo comes from Roberto Calzetta & Twin Soul and is another really sensitive bit of house music that sways to and fro and has blissful synth patterns unfolding up top. Lastly, Inmost sense is a dark and grubby affair that has pixelated synths up top but plenty of menace in its bones. This is another winning EP that really confirms Dynamic have unearthed some fine talents here.
