Noir takes a short break from his self titled label to deliver his first release for the year for DFTD. His ‘Music 4 Me’ EP is a double header of funky rollers that make you move instinctively to the beat. The title track is an old skool vibe track with a poetic male spoken vocal, organ pads and a smooth yet relentless early doors groove. ‘Wait’ is all about the suppress and release. It’s not shy about coming forwards with its tumbling beats, high end diva ‘you just have to wait … can’t you see it’s too late’ prompts and bold bleeps. It’s repetitive, hypnotic and has Shazam running through it like a stick of lost it never gonna find it to this stick of latent disco dynamite. A natural high.
