Played at the right time and place there is probably nothing else on earth that sounds/ feels quite like this. Which is slightly odd when you consider this Burt Bacharach/ Hal David composition is in reality from 1971, although sampled and sounding very much like 2013. The vocals are care off the angelic voice of Dionne Warwick and Osunlade has tastefully re-crafted them over sensuous House percussion aided by a touch of filtered magic. The flip-side sees smoky electric piano chords drift across a ‘What Gets You High’ vocal refrain and complimentary Bossa rhythms to sound inescapably cool in the process. A first-rate release.
