Time, sounds like it exits in another dimension though luckily Cadenza have secured its transmission across the airwaves in the present one. Expanded across some ten plus minutes this hauntingly, captivating piece of music creates a hypnotic amalgamation of atmospheric loops and vocal snippets that play out as surreal and life-affirming. It’s really not until the introduction of the driving hi-hat two thirds of the way through the arrangement that you come crashing back to reality. Either way, an excellent piece of music. Next, ‘Who’ takes aim for the dancefloor with treated, rhythmic handclaps and intense bass turning up the heat, leaving the final track ‘Fire’ to again sequence looped ambience over taught drums to blinding effect.
