The labels founder returns with two richly atmospheric tracks both packing a deep punch. The caustic ‘Rusty Spoon’ opens with pulsating beats which soon expand into mood enhanced territory with the addition of warm keys and smoky, reassuring vocal snippets all of which envelops you in a sense of anticipation. The more straightforward title of, ‘Rumpus’ packs crunchy, filtered beats together with slightly sinister held string lines exposing a sense of danger amid unforgiving stabs, and if anything provides the more intense results of the two productions.
