The title does not pull any punches and neither does the music, that’s for sure. Legendary Detroit stalwart and cutting edge producer Rick Wade’s slinky title track, ‘Tech Breed’ sequences feverish beats together with quick-fire stabs and caustic string lines and sounds magnificent. ‘Groovy’ happens next fuelled by perky percussion and classically deep notation providing a sense of relief, while the Jagger sampling ‘Whoa Children’ gets low down and dirty with more rough beats and keys. Tomoki Tamura then delivers a vinyl only edit of the up-tempo ‘Technological Lament’ which rapidly hits Acid payday in a large way.
