Norway’s Snick Snack Music is a new company specialising in electronic treats of a rare delicacy going on this rather remarkable maiden voyage. These two tracks start simply and quite abstractedly before building and coalescing into glorious sonic feasts. Trulz and Robin’s ‘Rubber Love’ whips up a contagious acid shuffle with minimal underpants and odd sprinkles afoot, building a fantastic vibe of its own. This fairly euphoric feeling continues on the Ost & Kjex epic, which starts cavernous and haunting before heading deep into the night and a subterranean jungle of drones, basslines, 70s prog-touches and future-minimal splatter-riffs. As it goes on it becomes quite mesmerising. Great start!
