Roger Sanchez hits his Miami Music Week stride with this sinewy bounce-off- the-ropes, boom-bap, lyrical attack track. In a similar vein to Man Without A Clue’s ‘When I Play This Record’, ‘Dangerous Thoughts’ pumps up the jam with James Brown whoops, #realtalk lyrics – ‘ I be thinking ‘bout how you all sound the same, your sound is mad fake like that rep that you claim’ – and a Mr T ‘sucka assed fools’ swagger that gives it a gleaming glint of that cheeky Sanchez smile. A safe bet.
