San Francisco duo Clint Stewart and Marc Smith return to Mobilee for the labels 96th release on what is undoubtedly a stunning return to form. Opening with the first of three tracks ‘My Love’ teases you with treated voices and pulsating, yet funky rhythms over the course of seven plus minutes while developing the vocal into something altogether mesmerizing. ‘Double Dutch’ continues with more imaginative fx, this time blending perfectly together with seriously frisky percussion. Leaving ‘Be The Light’ to expand the sense of space still further with intoxicating voices coupled with flawless drum programming and classically styled stabs.
