If you liked any of Schumacher’s Rekorder releases around 2006/7 then this EP will please you no end. ‘I’ll Do You’s funky drummed intro teases you gently into the jaw-dropping, wow of this track once the bassline drops. With its three note bassline, sustained strings, moaning then soaring vocal and ricocheting rhythms, it’s simplicity itself, and that’s what makes it so damned moreish. Lovely work. The other tracks lead you along the pure techno and acid house rave road with the wind at your back and a molotov in the seat of your pants. ‘It’ll do you’? Why not? It certainly did me.
