The Bristol-based Four Twenty has been one of the most consistent labels over the last year and maintains the quality with this EP from 23-year-old Welshman Tom Demac [whose already appeared on Hypercolour and his own Electronique Audio]. The title track is deep and haunting with airy voices and nagging subtlety in the way it works its way up from the feet. There’s also a more floor-friendly dub and fine, glacially-textured remix from Switzerland’s Ripperton.
