Talk about kicking off a new label with a bang! Bohemian Disco is the new imprint from UK producer Jason Herd, who promises to deliver the goods throughout 2023, keeping things funky and discofied, and with proper songs! The label’s first outing sees Jason team up with vocal icon Barbara Tucker on the shimmering Disco stomper, ‘Head Up High’, which features one of the best vocal performances from Barbara, backed by full live strings and instrumentation. The package also features a remix from house legend Harry Romero, who cooks up a slamming dub in true Romero style. Jason also delivers one of his peak time Fat Arse dubs, ramping up the energy with chopped up vocals, a distorted Tom bassline and lo-fi piano’s. A very impressive start, bring it on!
