Fans of Mile End records will know the label has renamed itself Griffintown Records. The music the label deals in remains resolutely chunky tech house though and the latest one comes from L.O.R.D.I.E. Ever present house talent Darius Syrossian serves up two remixes.
Alpha is a steady tech tune that shuffles along with well sculpted drums and synths. It’s one that slowly will fill the dance floor and keep people locked. Darius then keeps things underground with his gritty, tense roller complete with acidic bassline and incendiary hi hats. Then comes Beta, a ducking and diving tune with cute vocal samples and big kicks that pull you in. It’s one that builds stature and will make you sweat, no doubts. Darius then steps in with another meaty, chunky remix that has heavy drums and effective percussive details all encouraging you to cut loose.
