So into 2006 & Absentee are having a blast, ‘Something To Bang’ is fuzzy feel good swagger, as singer songwriter Dan Michaelson goes into Iggy Pop mode, ‘Iâm tired of being a man, always something to bang, working up a sweat, bringing out the worst in me’, over happy go lucky horn blasts & cheap organ riffs, leading to a swirling psychedelic crescendo.
