Andy ‘Touch Fingers’ is quite simply a man in love with music. The classically trained pianist has dabbled in jazz, drum n bass and the deeper side of house in the past, now turning his attention to jazz-kissed grooves that fuse house tempos with syncopated ’70s funk beats. Across four finger-clicking tracks the feel is contemporary without ever being too radically abstract to scary the listener away. Of the quartet, Heidi Stewart’s near-poetic dialogue on ‘Haha Made You Look’ is the sexiest and most likely to gain exposure.
